QLD Stamp Duty Concessions

As a First Home Buyer in Queensland, you maybe entitled to two Government Concessions.

Is the First Home Owners Grant – The first home owner grant gives eligible first-time home buyers $15,000 or $30,000 towards buying or building a new home in QLD. For buying or building a new home, the grant amount is:

  • $30,000 for contracts signed between 20 November 2023 and 30 June 2025 (both dates inclusive

  • $15,000 for contracts signed before 20 November 2023

​First Home Concession – QLD Government allows you to claim when acquiring your first residence, as long as, you meet the certain requirements. The First Home Concession is no Stamp Duty Charge on any Home valued under $500,000. With a discounted charge on Home values of $500,000 to $550,000. Any over is generally the same Duty as everyone else.
